Meet Peter Conyers
Peter Conyers is a proud, lifelong resident of Manchester, CT. He grew up near Buckley School where his parents, Ron & Donna, still live. Peter now resides on Ferguson Road with his wife.
After graduating from Manchester High in 2005, he attended the University of Rhode Island earning his Bachelor's degree in history and political science.
After URI, Peter enlisted in the United States Army Reserves and was deployed overseas in 2013. As part of a Civilian Affairs unit, Peter was responsible for going out into communities to problem solve, develop relationships, and be liaison between local communities and the US government.
Peter has managed the Conyers Construction Company since 2009, which was founded by his grandfather, Roy, in Manchester in 1954. The combination of Peter's own management experience with watching his grandfather and father manage a small business has given him a deep understanding of the challenges business owners face. He is deeply committed to strengthening Manchester's economy and making it easier for local business to thrive.
Peter greatly enjoys being active and invested in the community. He's a proud member of the Army Navy Club, UNICO, VFW, and the American Legion. He also enjoys sponsoring local sports teams participating in Manchester’s recreational leagues.
